Light is activated by switch that is integrated into the handle. Donegan Aspheric Magnifying Lenses are designed to give a clear unrestricted view of the subject. By eliminating peripheral distortion normally found in conventional lenses, they ensure sharp focusing right ot the edge of the lense. It says made in USA, but the AC adapter says made in China.
