Finds the center of objects up to 12 inches or 300mm wide. The backside of the ruler has an inches to mm conversion table. Inch increments are 1/16 inch with a 4 inch section that has 1/32 inch marks. The metric increments are in millimeters with a 100mm section marked in 1/2mm increments. The marks are etched into the stainless steel.
