The two outside ridges on the blade lock onto the outside tracks on the rail to hold everything together for accurate and straight cuts. Both the triple track blade carriage and the new High Profile blade carriage work in this trimmer. A pull-out ruler extends your measuring area for larger pieces. The 1/4 inch bold grid lines let you make easy, accurate measurements the first time. Rubberized feet keep the base from sliding around so each cut is perfect every time.
